How could this IA be done as a goodie?

Depending on what the Answer shows it could be a Fathead (which makes the most sense because this data is mostly static) but the audio could not be played because Fatheads don't support that yet.

A Goodie could be made if the links are copied into a JSON/YAML file that is slurped into a hash. Then a simple hash lookup could return the lyrics and a link to the audio. Again the audio player couldn't be used because Goodies don't support that yet.

In a similar fashion to the Goodie a Spice could be used to show the lyrics and also play them like the Dictionary Spice plays pronunciations.

I would be interested in working on this because it seems like a fairly easy task. However, I am very new to Perl and making instant answers, so I would need guidance on how to approach this problem.

I would also be interested, It's been awhile since I've done any python though. it could probably be done using this - https://duck.co/duckduckhack/goodie_over...

Unless you want to directly call the info from Wikipedia. However i'm not sure on how you'd go about that and if there is any legality issues pulling the info directly.

I was wondering the same thing. I know a spice instant answer would use the API to get the info, but I'm not sure how to do it as a goodie.

A Fathead could be written to Scrape the data from the page and produce the required output.txt file (many Fatheads do exactly this)

Similarly, the data could be manually converted to a different format (YAML/JSON) so that it could be easily handled in Perl via slurping to produce a Hash.

I was looking for other websites with this information and found seemingly easier solution. It has the lyrics in a simpler format and has a code insert for the audio. What do you think?
