Currently the GitHub spice searches package names but not user names. It'd be cool to have single view and tile view results for GitHub user names.
Source:
GitHub's api, using GET /search/users (documentation here: https://developer.github.com/v3/search/#...)

Cool! What kind of trigger would you suggest?

Ideally it'd be the same trigger as the existing IA – we'd have to make a call on whether to show packages or people in some cases, but my guess is that there wouldn't be too much overlap.

Ok, same IA and different API call?

I was thinking that might the most straightforward, but I might be wrong. Tile display would need to vary a little (might show user icon etc).

Hi… I’m just new and checking ideas, but I thought I might comment. :)

I was wondering if some search like "username@service" wouldn’t be relevant. Benefits I see are:

* It matches a pattern a everyone is used to (somebody@somewhere);
* It’s a more broad way to find users, not only on github.

My two cents… :)

My suggestion would be to still keep "github" as the trigger word, but to append "@" in front of the query for usernames.

ie. "github @tj" will return https://github.com/tj
