We are developing a Cheat Sheet for Javascript, soI figure a JQuery Cheat Sheet would also be a good addition.

The API provides a good 1 sentence summery for each function: http://api.jquery.com/

OverAPI provides a good way to classify: http://overapi.com/jquery/

We probably don't need all the categories listed on OverAPI.

I figure we could have (in order across the screen):

Core
Selectors
Attributes/Css
Traversing
Manipulation
Events
Ajax

And then add others based on how it looks.

I think the idea is good, but we need to be careful that we don't dump too much content into CheatSheets. I think covering just the basics/essentials is all that we need to do. An exhaustive list of all functions would be too much.

This seems like a pretty decent Cheat Sheet: http://www.cheatography.com/davechild/ch...

Realized that once I started actually writing. I will start by just using the methods and selectors I use most often and can add/pare from there. This (http://www.cheatography.com/i3quest/chea...) plus a few more common functions should work.
