I often find myself wanting to see where a specific !bang goes, before just entering it into the search field.
You wouldn't want to end up on a Google site, right? ; P

Anyway, the query triggering this Instant Answer, should probably be something like:
"Where goes !<bang-command> <maybe search query here>".

E.g. a search for "Where goes !validate https://duckduckgo.com/" would display something like this:

That !bang (!validate) goes to http://validator.w3.org/. To be precise it goes to the following URL:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=https%...

Notes: I think it should be similar in appearence to the expand URL-Instant Answer.
Source:
This should of course be the DuckDuckGo API. : P

Great idea! Some thoughts:

The trigger could be word-based, like, "where does !jpg go?" but could also be special character-based like: ?!jpg (to also use it as a quick lookup)

Another thing that would be useful is to query, "!bang:social" er something and have it display all the !bangs that are under the Social category from the !bangs page

Yeah! That would be nice, too! : )
Maybe it would show the destination URL with {{{s}}}, where the your search query would go.

Great idea, too! This would really be a quick and easy way to do it! Like a shortcut. ; )

This also would also be very handy in many cases. : ) We'd just have to figure a out way to "handle" !bang-categories containing spaces... Ooh, and localized category-names. : )

Sorry! My "custom" BBCode tags messed up! : (
It would really be nice to be able to use an actual WYSIWYG-editor! ; ) ...or at least just a cheat sheet! : ) ...try saying that 3 times fast! : P

Did you guys think this trigger actual bang?

also maybe someone wants to use bang with "where goes" but instead in return gets explanation where actual bang goes.

I suggest on using question mark (?) as symbol for informing yourself where that bang redirect you to.

Example: ?YT

Instant answer pop ups with explanation.

I see your point! It would indeed be a tricky situation if people what to use a !bang with the phrase "where goes". Using "?" as in "?lyrics" or as "?!lyrics" (note there's both a ? and a !) seems like a good solution! : )

Seriously, I know I've already written this! Anyone else experiencing this?

Ya, I like subbing the ? for the ! and leaving out trigger words. Makes it extremely easy.
Of course, it could also trigger via " where does !jpg go?"
