I want the ability to set a stopwatch just by typing "stopwatch" and be able to bring up a user-interactive prompt with four buttons: start, stop, reset, and split

I perfer that the user interface would look a little bit like this except more compact, clean, and not terminal like.

The timer (sorry for the text art, it's only for example)
Code:
  __    ___ ___    ____  __    ___ ___
 /_ |_ / _ \__ \ _|___ \/_ |_ / _ \__ \
  | (_) | | | ) (_) __) || (_) (_) | ) |
  | | | | | |/ /   |__ < | |  \__, |/ /
  | |_| |_| / /_ _ ___) || |_   / // /_
  |_(_)\___/____(_)____/ |_(_) /_/|____|

The buttons
Code:
start
Code:
stop
Code:
reset
Code:
split

This sounds like a great idea. However, the exact look of the stopwatch might be somewhat harder to agree on.

I might try to develop this if I have some time in the near future.

Interesting idea and should be implemented. If you have any source to provide that would be helpful.

Attention to designers of the stopwatch, numbers are too bright in my opinion, it should be darker.
This is issues since new version of DuckDuckGo
