Because if it's a button you can click it would have to be "Mostra tots els !bang", but if it's a description or some text addressed to the user, it should say "Vegeu tots els !bang", o "Veges tots els !bang". According to SoftCatalà, we mustn't use infinitives (that's why I ask context, maybe in this case the infinitive is OK).

This has not very much sense. It should be whether "Mostra els enllaços a les instruccions de com afegir DDG al navegador" or "Mostra els enllaços a les instruccions per afegir DDG al navegador" (anyway always without the "teu" particle).

We need context to know what the placeholders will contain, in order to set a proper preposition for "at".

We need context to know the gender and number of this token.

We need context in this translation in order to know if the text belongs to a button, a description, etc. Anyway the translation is definetly wrong.

I'd like to necro-post this in order to get some information about the current status of the Reporting bad translations issue. In this example: https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/... we have 4 votes for a bad translation (the word doesn't even exist!!) and I submitted the correct translation almost one year ago and it hasn't been up-voted.

I feel like a tool for reporting bad translations is needed (or at least a down-vote option), because it seems like no-one is taking care of Catalan language (and maybe others) and the misspelling is there, at your official Duckduckgo.com website. It just doesn't feel right.

Thanks in advantage ;)

We need to know what the place holder can be (gender, at least).

Thanks, jbarret, I hope you implement some way to report bad translations, or, at least, some way to flag them as wrong.

I copy here the link of one of the catalan bad translation:

https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/...

In the other hand, for the context issue, I think it would be a lot better that, when adding context, instead of links, you should attach screenshots, because I found so many times that the link in the Notes section is not representative of the context (you can see some examples here: https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/... https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/... https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/... https://duck.co/translate/tokenlanguage/... and so on. In links provided the string I have to translate doesn't appear).

At last, I would like to know which is the DuckDuckGo policy respecting formality in translations. The common translation guidelines for Catalan language establish that we must use a formal approach to translate the strings oriented to the user (as in "Are you sure you want to quit?", in Catalan would be translated as "Are you sure you want to quit, Sir?", with a medium-high level of formality).

Thank you!

Here we have a tough translation, because in English it is kind a language joke that has no practical meaning. As in Google the sentence is "I'm feeling lucky", here at DuckDuckGo they say "I'm feeling Ducky", as a joke.
In the Catalan translation it's set as "Segur que tinc sort" (in English: "I'm sure I will be lucky"). In order to try to keep the joke, I suggest "Segur que tinc 'quac'" (in English: "I'm sure I will be 'quack'). What do you think? Is the best alternative I could think...
