Awesome, thanks for the reply.
If it's problematic to have the results in the box but their information is still relevant, you could use a link directing the search query to Wolfram Alpha, so the results are accessible from Instant Answers.

Have you guys ever thought about collaborating with other search engines like Wolfram Alpha to provide direct results rather than coding for every specific example? For instance, if Wolfram had very relevant results compared to search results, display those in instant answers?

It would be great if you could show their eclipse orthographic maps in your results, for example.

That's embarrassing. I wish I could delete my crappy ideas.
Do we really say duck it? I love that.

Try typing a search query in quotes or using Boolean Operators.

There's really no reason to have Mac over Linux (besides shinyness and IOS apps I don't care about). I'm a Nintendo/Sega gamer so I've never had to worry about PC games.

I'm not super familiar with all the desktop elements, I know Unity freaks me out. The Cinnamon Desktop is gorgeous but I would want something more similar to Mac UI for comfort's sake (Cinnamon is very Windows).
Maybe XFCE?

I don't have any CDs capable of distro-holding at home and my Mac is pretty fucked up from me sudo rm -rfing all the stuff I don't like (when I use disk utility it thinks I run Mac OS Legacy) so I'll probably have to get an entirely new computer with Debian preinstalled if I want to run Linux.

What do you use to dual-boot Windows and GNU/Linux? I know refit is good for mac.

I'm alright, thanks!

So you're "Adam from Ghostery"?

I did notice Ghostery blocked more, it just conflicted with Noscript for some reason.

I'll try installing it again.

I'm definitely going to convert to GNU/Linux, my personal favorite distro is Debian, and thankfully I already know a fair amount of UNIX as I run OSX.
I can't see myself using TAILS as a full-time operating system, isn't it some sort of flash-drive type-thing? I know it's based off of Debian and forces traffic through Tor.

I don't have HTTPS everywhere because DuckDuckGo Plus covers that, but I do use flagfox, its menu has an awesome arsenal of domain tools. Today I was confused by it telling me that Telegraph.co.uk is based in the US, when it's a British Newspaper (hosted in UK according to whois).

The other extension I use is Tor FlashProxy Badge, though I have never had any connections :(

Also, upon hearing all your testimonies I reinstalled NoScript.

I deleted my facebook account a month ago, good riddance.
They say it deletes everything but they probably have shit stored about me still. I have no idea how they bypass standard privacy laws for minors.
I tried to email them revoking my consent to their continued storage of my personal information (per Massachusetts General Law Chapter 93H and 201 CMR 17.00 and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child) but you need a facebook account to contact them because they have no info or appeals or support email.

I had never even heard of Whatsapp before yesterday. I'm the odd technophobic geek. I respect monochrome monitors and vacuum tubes far more than smart phones and HD. I have a free IPhone (by upgrade) but I haven't even opened it, I hate the thing.
The only phone I've ever loved was a Nokia 3310.

I like that quote.

Google Fiber's silver lining is that it will increase competition in telecommunications (or as the government classifies internet, "information services") and hopefully encourage cable companies to follow suit.

I don't understand "the cloud". It's nice for the public domain, but why would anyone want their personal documents on some satellite somewhere?
Seems like google is taking "storing the world's information" to a disturbing level.
