That creates a password, not a passphrase

Odd, as when I tried it before making this suggestion I did not get anything.

Also, it needs to be added to the cryptography section of the Goodies list as it's not there

I'd like it to have the package name, a description, links to different versions (eg, Debian Wheezy, Jessy, and Sid), and of course a link to the webbased package repository package.

Something along the lines of this:

All that data was grabbed directly from the Debian web repo

Understandable. It use to be easily doable back when keyword.url was still around but they removed that feature.

Here's some other ideas I shared on the subreddit. This may be redundant for me to do so but oh well.

Idea on the IA vs organic links conundrum: Make it so that users can also say that the instant answer provided the better results.

Some other ideas:

Have a video that explains how blinders works for new people.

The ability to rate which link was the best. With the current set up you'll know which search result are better, but do you know why? The ability to say "This was the best!" would greatly improve the quality and quantity of feedback info.

Glad to provide it!

One last thought. For Firefox users (don't know about Chrome) setting up blinder as our default search engine is a PITA. I personally had to manually go in and edit config files to ensure that it would work. Besides adding the option to set blinders as the default search engine via the DDG extension, any ideas on how to make it easier for FF users to be able to set up blinders as our default?

"There's nothing that can be gained from using !bangs in blinds, as !bangs pass users off to other web sites, so there's nothing to be compared."

The same can be said about bangs being provided in the normal search. They provide nothing to DDG but a lot to their users. Why rob them of that and other features just for using blinders? You're punishing users for wanting to provide feedback via the blinders.

Again, if you want users to actually use blinders, make it as convenient for them as normal search or else it will go unused.

Most users will not even consider using blinders (and thus having the chance to provide valuable feedback removed) if it is not convenient for them to do so.
