I searched for "ebola news" and switched to the "News" tab. I think this tab should consist more of primary news sources. None of the results have The New York Times, which has a lot of coverage of the patient in NYC and overall a lot of international coverage. Several of the results are from Yahoo, which is just aggregating from AP, Reuters and other places. And there's a story from Fox News, which is a part of Fox's Entertainment division, not from their publishing/journalism (that one maybe should be replaced with WSJ? or not because of paywall?).

What about featuring stories from ProPublica? It's a non-profit newsroom.

And +1 on localizing (I'm mostly speaking for the US side of things...).

Also, how come if I type more than one word I don't get the "news" tab at all. If I type "Dell business news" it would be nice if the results were from business news sources (Bloomberg, Financial Times, Reuters, Forbes, etc.). And if I did "Dell tech news" I would get things from Verge, Engadget, TechCrunch, etc.
a comment on the General Rambling Place*s* only shows one place 4 years and 7 months ago
Hi, I'm not sure if I'm missing something about searching for places. It seems like I always only get one result when it comes up as a tab and it's usually not the place I'm looking for. It would be nice if Places actually showed multiple places on the map.

For example, this shows me one Joe's Coffee in uptown Manhattan:
Joe Coffee near 10011

But there are several Joe Coffee places much closer to 10011 (Chelsea):

Also a lot of times I don't get a places search, none of these come up with a Places tab:
Starbucks near 10011
Starbucks near New York, NY
Dunkin Donuts near 10011
GAP near 10011 (loads a Maps tab way far away instead)
J. Crew near 10011
J. Crew store near 10011

But these do:
GAP store near 10011
J. Crew store near New York, NY (albeit not the closest one to 10011)

a comment on the General Rambling Link to real recipe in Yummly module 4 years and 9 months ago
Right now when you click a recipe card in the band powered by Yummly, it expands to show slightly more information about it and then the only thing you can do is go to the recipe on Yummly's site. But Yummly is only an aggregator and and only shows a portion of the recipe, so you have to find another link to go to that site to see the whole thing.

I don't mind the search being powered by Yummly and featuring them prominently, but it would be a lot better if there was also a link to go directly to the recipe. You mention the site that Yummly has aggregated from right underneath the title so it looks like the title will go there (or I would at least expect clicking the site name to go there) but the only thing I can do is go to Yummly. Maybe next to the Yummly-branded "View Full Recipe" button there should be a slightly less prominent link that says "See Original Source" or "See Original Recipe" or something like that.
