I think it needs to become a spice plugin on DDH. Once refined it could make it's way as a home page option!

I like the idea of starting from an already robust and secure browser implementation -- too bad they didn't release the source (yet). The security industry has a way of getting source released though :).

I just found this: https://threema.ch/en/; but I'm more likely to trust WhisperSystems. Silent Circle is also a cool option. I wonder what most people are using.

The threema option is particularly interesting because it requires in person key exchange via QR codes.

I really like that these guys are thinking at the platform level now -- I'm sure more cool things are to come -- the battle of course is adoption. :)

How are you testing this?  Could it be via the API interface like: http://api.duckduckgo.com/?q=!rateyourmusic+back+on+my+grizzy&o=json&no_redirect=1 as opposed to the standard search interface like: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=!rateyourmusic+back+on+my+grizzy?  I'm rolling updates now to that part of the infrastructure.  Sorry for any confusion!

I am confused why this is a problem.  Most people want YouTube.  Why not just use `!gv`?
a reply to a comment on the General Rambling Quote searches not working as expected 4 years and 8 months ago
Thanks for the report!  After a bit of investigation, it's clear this is a problem with how we're bolding in the quoted query case instead of with the relevancy of the search.  We're bolding all the permutations of the terms instead of limiting the bolding to the quoted terms.  I've submitted a bug for this; we're on it!

respectfully,

caine.
