And I'm not a PERL expert by any means, but it seem that what you proposed can be developed with Datetime's package (http://datetime.perl.org/). So probably this would fit into the goodies category

There is this the DateMatch AI (https://duck.co/ia/view/date_math) with similar idea, but with less features than what you described. Maybe implement those features on DateMath IA?

This is a cool IA to have (I'd use it myself quite a lot).

There are some APIs/datasets with football (soccer) data out there:

This seems to be the best candidate. According to their website:
"The goal of the football-data API is to provide football data of all major european leagues in a machine-readable way. By data I mean fixtures, teams, players, results and more. All this information is provided via an easy-to-use RESTful API in JSON (only) representation."

Others:
- https://github.com/jokecamp/FootballData... (updated JSON data for EPL. data on github, no API)
- http://openfootball.github.io/ (historical and updated data. several datasets. no API available)
- http://soccerstats.us/ (historical data only. quite a lot of leagues and competitions. no api)

I'd give a hand on this one!

In the case I stumbled upon there was not IA either. That's a good point to have in mind though.
a comment on the Instant Answer Idea A pomodoro timer, timers for pomodoro, short and long breaks 2 years and 10 months ago
Pomodoro technique is great! It would be a great thing to add to DuckDuckGo!

There is a timer IA triggered by eg. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=timer (https://duck.co/ia/view/timer) that could be used as A Pomodoro timer. Though, if someone searches for 'pomodoro technique' or 'pomodoro timer' there is no IA with a timer triggered. I use pomodoro technique too but with my own work slots (40m-30m), so I'd find useful that we could also define our own time slots.

I'd probably suggest one of 2 things:
- trigger the timer IA when 'pomodoro', 'pomodoro technique' or 'pomodoro timer' is searched.
- build a new pomoro-purpose timer from scratch (I'd still suggest that we could change the interval times :D)

thumbs up for pomodoro though!

I came across the edge case when the search engine does not return any value. The prompted message is 'No more results'. I think it would be better to return something like 'No results for your search.' in this case. It's only a detail, but should make it nicer! What do you think? [http://i.imgur.com/UxfNxTr.png]

@Moollaza is that a big issue? Can't instant answers use XML? (DuckDuckGo newcomer here!)
