a reply to a comment on the General Rambling Is the jabber bot still running ?

Your jabber server is likley fine -- the XMPP bot is offline. We finally disabled it after switching our XMPP server to require encrypted server-to-server connections (https://duck.co/blog/xmpp-s2s
), and it is unlikely that we will resurrect it in the future.

This happens to me when I search 'knife flip' to find the github repository of a knife plugin that I use! It always catches me by surprise :)
P.S. The relevant tool is: https://github.com/jonlives/knife-flip

a reply to a comment on the General Rambling DockDock certificate is not valide ???

Do you see this error when browsing to https://eur-xl1.duckduckgo.com?
What about when you clear your browsing data? The certificate installed on our servers is valid from Nov 2013 to Dec 2014, and so I'm confused how you're getting the expired cert. Also, did you try a different browser?

Sorry to hear that. I checked our response time graphs for our server in the Asia Pacific region, and it seems pretty static. The checks originate from Japan so I would expect the results be comparable to what you would experience. Is it still slow for you?
