I generally chat over XMPP with OTR enabled... If you trust the XMPP server then I think that's a pretty good solution. There are definitely more ways to further obfuscate your origin, but I think that's a decent start.

OK we just moved to a Multi Domain certificate, and changed the A record for dukgo.com back to this server. Hopefully, this should resolve your connection issues. Please let me know if you're still having problems!

Hmm that's odd. I am not able to recreate the issue on Firefox. What browser is your roommate using? Also, have you tried a different browser or disabling your browser extensions?

Weird--I connect with Pidgin just fine. So to clarify, connecting straight to xmpp.dukgo.com is working over a normal connection but not over Tor?

@dp515 thank you for pointing this out. It looks like Pale Moon is expecting the issuer chain. I will fix this in the next 5 minutes and update the thread when it is done.

Sorry about the ambiguity there. I have chained the new cert with the intermediate cert from the CA so now it should be showing as valid for you. Regardless, the correct fingerprint should be: b9:2e:96:5b:ae:5e:a0:68:cf:be:dc:9c:c7:41:e5:7b:57:6d:e8:26
