Been looking into this and I actually got better results by adding "region:uk" to the search query, so worth giving that a try. For some reason it's much better than just switching on the region setting for UK.

Hi. There is a promo video already. It's from a couple of years ago but it's still relevant:
https://vimeo.com/50984188

Also, DuckDuckGo makes a charitable donation every year to free and open source projects. Half of the allocation is decided by the company and half is decided by the community. The nomination suggestions for 2015 are in this thread:

The next thing is to make these popular and viral, as you suggest, which is probably the hardest part!

No, not Bingland!

It sounds like your issue is similar to this:

so the instructions in the reply there might help. Please let us know if it works (or not).

A quick workaround is to add "domain:uk" to your searches but it's not perfect as it excludes .com results.

I agree the regional search could be improved though, for example searching for "football" with the region set to UK.

I've reported it using the "bad relevancy" form:

Firefox has a "Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked" option (Preferences -> Privacy).

It also has options to send or not send data back to Mozilla about browser perforrmance and crash reports (Preferences -> Advanced -> Data Choices).

That's the only tracking that Firefox does as far as I'm aware. Not sure about Chrome or Chromium.

Strange - that query works for me.

Using "url underscore vs hyphen" the first result is:
"Hyphen vs Underscore for SEO URLs"

Using "url underscore vs hyphen -seo" the first result is:
"Hyphens or Underscore vs. "A Space"" and none of the other search results have SEO in the title or description.

I think this may be a missing title attribute.

At the top of http://dontbubble.us/ if you hover the mouse over the red link in the sentence "An illustrated guide by DuckDuckGo" a tooltip will appear. It currently shows "%s" but perhaps it should be token #1249, i.e. "Search DuckDuckGo".

I've filed a bug at https://duck.co/feedback/bug/
