a comment on the General Rambling Setting custom fonts for my site search 2 years and 8 months ago
I use DuckDuckGo as the search engine for my website. I'd like the experience of moving out to DDG and then back to my own domain to be as seamless as possible, so I'm customizing the DDG search results page. The only thing left is I'd like for the search results page to use the same font as my website.

I know you can set a custom font via the URL parameters, just like all the other settings, but I believe it only works if you have the font installed on your device. Is there a way to add the CSS @font-face or @import code? Or is there some other trick I don't know about to link to web font files? Or would the DuckDuckGo developers consider supporting this feature?

Thanks.

I looked at the form, but I don't really understand what I'm supposed to put for the {{{s}}} line. Is that where the marvel.wikia.com URL goes?

Currently, if you wanted to search the Marvel Wikia, say for "iron man", typing "!marvelwiki iron man" takes you to this url:

Code:
http://marvel.wikia.com/index.php?search=iron%20man&fulltext=Search

This is incorrect, though. Your search terms appear in the site's search bar, but it does not render search results.

The search URL should look like this:

Code:
http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Search?search=iron+man&fulltext=Search
